Developing force sensitive climbing foot for ANYmal robot
Development of fully integrated force sensitive sensors that comply with the common real-time communication protocols used in robotics. These sensors gives robots the ability to sense and interact safer with the environment and humans enabling them to perform human-like tasks (surgical, collaborative
We are a team of passionate engineers with the goal to provide key element towards the acceptance and introduction of robots in our daily lives. We envision that interaction between a robot and a human will become safer, easier and intuitive. We are currently focusing in force sensitive devices that will allow the robot to become more dexterous in performing assembly and collaborative tasks and safer by detecting with much higher accuracy collisions and interactions with humans and the environment.
You will:
- work with ANYmal robot for various projects
- work with Industry's leading real-time protocol EtherCAT
- familiarize with the code complexity of a modern robot
- learn about Safety critical applications
- develop precision and delicate devices
