The aim of this project is to design, build and test a probe holder to interface the multichannel cantilever with the AFM head and the fluidics system. It is important that the design is compatible with the AFM head, the interconnections of the probe holder with the fluidics system are leak-free, and the alignment and fixation of the multichannel probe onto the probe holder can be performed in a feasible manner. Above mentioned requirements will be tested experimentally as well as numerically (if time and interest allows).

Goals will be discussed based on individual expertise, experience and preferred project type (experimental/numerical, master/bachelor, thesis/semester project). Please write me an e-mail if you are interested and we can discuss this further in person.
